This Cookie Policy explains how AISCouncil, operated by BizTransit Sdn Bhd, uses cookies and similar technologies on aiscouncil.net and bcz.co.
Our Zero-Server Privacy Model: AISCouncil is designed with privacy at its core. We use a zero-server architecture which means:
- Your conversations are stored only in your browser (IndexedDB) and never sent to our servers
- Your API keys are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and sent directly to AI providers—we never see them
- We act only as a user interface—we do not process your data
- All data remains under your control and on your device
1. Our Approach to Cookies
Minimal cookie usage, maximum privacy: We use minimal cookies for essential functionality only. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, user profiling, or cross-site tracking. Our philosophy is simple: if we don't need a cookie, we don't set one.
Browser storage is primary: Most of the application's data (conversations, API keys, bot settings, user preferences) is stored in your browser's IndexedDB and localStorage. These are distinct from cookies and are never sent to our servers. This is how we maintain your privacy—all data stays on your device.
2. Cookies We Set
The following cookies are set by AISCouncil:

3. Cookies We Do Not Set
We explicitly do not use:
- Advertising cookies: We do not serve ads and do not set cookies for ad targeting or retargeting
- Analytics cookies: We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other analytics service that sets cookies
- Third-party tracking cookies: We do not embed tracking pixels, social media widgets, or other third-party scripts that set cross-site tracking cookies
- Fingerprinting: We do not use browser fingerprinting or any other persistent identification technique
4. localStorage (Not Cookies)
Most of the application's data is stored in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB, which are distinct from cookies. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is never sent to servers with HTTP requests. The following localStorage keys are used:

IndexedDB stores larger data such as bot configurations, chat histories, and addon manifests. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated into AISCouncil may set their own cookies:
5.1 Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on the google.com domain as part of the authentication process. These cookies are managed by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
5.2 Other OAuth Providers
If you sign in with Apple, GitHub, Facebook, or WeChat, the respective provider may set cookies on their own domain during the authentication flow. These are governed by each provider's cookie and privacy policies.
5.3 Payment Processors
Stripe and PayPal may set cookies during the payment process on their own domains. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy and PayPal's Privacy Policy, respectively.
6. How to Manage Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Here is how to access cookie settings in common browsers:

- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data

Blocking our essential cookies may affect the pricing display but will not prevent you from using the core features of the application. Since the application primarily uses localStorage and IndexedDB (not cookies), blocking cookies has minimal impact on functionality.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we change how we use cookies. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the Service. The "Effective" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
